The UEFA Euro 2020 championship, held between June and July, was not a happy time for Jack Grealish's girlfriend, who reported receiving death threats. According to British network "Sky News," model Sasha Attwood (25 years old) expressed that "it is very sad for young people to grow up thinking that spreading abuse online is okay." She added that "it escalated to the point of receiving death threats" after Grealish and his teammates failed in the final match against the Italian national team.
In deep pain and anger, she stated that "the environment of social media is toxic," especially on her Instagram and TikTok accounts. Sasha explained: "I would receive, for example, 200 death threats daily, and I am not exaggerating when I say that. Many messages still reach me every day, saying things like: I hope you die."
She revealed that she received threats from girls as young as 13 and 14 years old, considering it "a frightening thing." The famous model emphasized that she "restricts her personal information on social media because people are extremely cruel."
The English were hopeful of winning the European Championship title for the first time in history, but the Italians had a different outcome in the final match held at Wembley Stadium in London, which was decided by penalties.
