His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, arrived today in the capital city of Ankara for an official visit to the Republic of Turkey. He was welcomed at the presidential palace by His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Turkey.
A formal reception ceremony was held as he arrived at the presidential palace complex, accompanied by a group of horsemen holding the flags of both nations. His Highness then proceeded with President Erdoğan to the honor platform where the national anthems of both the UAE and Turkey were played. A 21-gun salute was fired, and a contingent of honor guards lined up to salute and welcome His Highness's visit.
His Highness exchanged greetings and welcomed with the ministers and senior officials in Turkey. President Erdoğan also welcomed the accompanying delegation which includes Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser; Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Airports; His Excellency Suhail Mohamed Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Her Excellency Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Harib Al Mehairi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment; His Excellency Ali bin Hamad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council; His Excellency Jassim Mohammed Bua'ataba Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Department of Finance and member of the Executive Council; His Excellency Faris Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Adviser to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs; His Excellency Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Crown Prince's Court; His Excellency Ali bin Faisal Ba'Alawi, Head of the Financial Information Unit at the Central Bank of the UAE; His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al Neyadi, Chargé d'affaires at the UAE Embassy in Turkey; His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Holding; His Excellency Mohammed Al Shamsi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports; His Excellency Saeed Al Dhaheri, CEO of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange; and His Excellency Mohammed Al Abbar, Chairman of Eagle Hills Real Estate Investment and Development Company.
