Hani Shaker Overcomes Conflict and Supports Sherine

The head of the Musicians Syndicate in Egypt, artist Hani Shaker, has expressed his support for artist Sherine Abdel Wahab during her divorce crisis from artist Hossam Habib, despite their recent disagreement.

The details of the initial conflict arose when the Musicians Syndicate issued a decision to suspend her from singing after she performed the song "Ma Sharabtsh Min Nelha" at a concert in one of the Arab countries and mockingly commented that the Nile contains bilharzia, which sparked a wave of backlash from the audience.

It seems that Shaker has moved past this conflict and extended his full support to her. He posted a picture of her on his personal account with a shaved head and included a tweet that read: "The wonderful artist and dear sister Sherine, I was very happy to see your return to your art and activity, and to your large audience across the Arab world despite your difficult personal circumstances. Come back, Sherine, with strength and confidence; you are a great talent that the music scene is currently missing. Be assured of my personal support for you and the support of your syndicate at all times. A successful return, God willing."
