After Her Husband's Remarks on Kissing, Actress Yasmin Raees Announces Her Divorce

After her husband's controversial remarks about his lack of objection to her performing "sensitive scenes," Egyptian actress Yasmin Raees announced her separation from director Hadi El-Bagoury today, Tuesday, describing the time she spent with him as a "long companionship that did not last." The young actress tweeted, "And if they intend to divorce, then indeed Allah is Hearing and Knowing." She added, "Thank God for everything, a long companionship but it did not last."

A few days ago, Yasmin shared a picture of herself from the Grand Mosque in Mecca while performing Umrah, but her husband did not appear in the photo, raising suspicions of conflicts between them.

El-Bagoury had previously made provocative statements confirming that he "has no objection to his wife performing any romantic scenes or scenes with kisses." Following these remarks, Yasmin Raees became a trending topic on social media in Egypt, to which she responded with a cryptic message, sharing a video clip from one of her films and commenting "Stop kissing me."

It is noteworthy that the young actress had been in Saudi Arabia in recent days after the success of her play "The Descendants of Reeya and Sakina," in which she participated as part of the Riyadh Season events.
