Syrian actress Mirna Shalfoon shared recent photos from her latest photo shoot with her followers on social media.
In the picture posted on her official Instagram page, the Syrian artist appeared in a provocative outfit, showcasing her figure. She wore revealing clothing that exposed her midriff and back, along with a very short skirt. Shalfoon directed a message to young women, urging them to rebel against societal expectations. She commented on the photo saying, "Be beautiful as you are, don’t try to prove to anyone that you are nice, calm, or polite."
She added, "Don’t seek the approval of others, but rather seek your own satisfaction and peace of heart and mind. Be who you are as God created you - beautiful in your temperament, silence, speech, stubbornness, and everything about you. Just be you."
The actress faced a wave of harsh criticism for her appearance, with people calling for her to cover up and not use social media for showboating. This isn’t the first time Shalfoon has stirred controversy with her appearance.
It is worth mentioning that Mirna Shalfoon's latest work is in the series "Waja'a Al-Samt," which is the fourth part of the "Screams of the Soul" series, a mix of Lebanese and Syrian episodes, produced by "Golden Line." In a previous media interview, the Syrian actress revealed her marriage to an Arab businessman living in Dubai, explaining that her distance from art and drama work was due to the low wages of Syrian artists.
