The Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Friday that Saudi defenses destroyed a ballistic missile launched towards the city of Khamis Mushait. The coalition stated that the ballistic missile was fired from Saada Airport using a civilian eye. It also revealed that "the Houthis intentionally targeted a commercial center in Khamis Mushait with a ballistic missile," emphasizing that "the Houthi escalation against civilians necessitates an immediate response to protect civilians," and confirmed that the response to the ballistic missile threat and drones must continue.
Military Camps and Houthi Storage
It is noteworthy that sources from "Al Arabiya" reported on Thursday that coalition fighters carried out operations against Houthi militia camps and storage facilities in various areas of the capital, Sana'a. The coalition also released images from the bombing that targeted Houthi militia camps and storage facilities in Sana'a.
Wide Military Operation
The coalition announced on Thursday morning that it had begun executing a wide military operation aimed at crippling the capabilities of the Houthi militia in several Yemeni governorates. In a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), it mentioned that its forces are tracking the terrorist leaders responsible for targeting civilians and are not immune to action, adding that this operation is a response to the threat and a military necessity to protect civilians from attacks.
Warning Against Continued Attacks
It is worth mentioning that during recent periods, the coalition has carried out numerous airstrikes against the Houthis and their military positions in Sana'a and other areas under militia control. It also broadcast video clips showing the militia converting Sana'a Airport into a military base, threatening navigation there. Additionally, last week, the coalition warned the militia against continuing their attacks on civilians, calling for the immediate cessation of their hostile activities and the evacuation of camps in Sana'a, while affirming the monitoring of their movements. It stated that if the Houthis do not comply, those sites will be bombed and struck, in accordance with international law standards.
