Senwar Warns of Changing the Shape of the Middle East If Confrontation with Israel Erupts Again

Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas's political bureau in Gaza, warned of a changing Middle East if a confrontation with Israel erupts again. This came during a meeting with writers, academics, and professors at universities in Gaza. Sinwar added that normalization, Palestinian division, and the international situation have encouraged Israel in its aggression, stating: "It will not be able to impose its alleged reality in Jerusalem and Sheikh Jarrah."

He emphasized that resistance is capable of achieving deterrence and has turned impossible circumstances into accumulated strength. He continued, saying, "God has destined us to 'humiliate' Tel Aviv, and what is hidden is greater." He clarified that in the last rocket barrage that was prepared, the decision was made to launch all old rockets.

He reiterated: "Our besieged resistance can strike Tel Aviv with 130 rockets in one barrage; we have turned it into a 'mop' and the resistance has made it stand on one leg." He affirmed that the occupation has only destroyed a few "fragments" of the resistance tunnels in Gaza, noting that the Palestinian resistance includes a large number of individuals with higher education degrees.
