Turkish authorities announced that the heavy rains experienced in the country led to floods that resulted in the death of one person. The official news agency "Anadolu" reported that search and rescue teams found the body of a 27-year-old bus driver. The spokesperson for the Turkish Ministry of Interior previously stated that authorities received a report of a missing person. Authorities sent 44 search, rescue, and firefighting personnel from Ankara to the area, where the young man's body was found near the riverbank among the branches of trees. Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş indicated on his Twitter account that 35 people had been rescued. He noted that floods occurred in 300 locations, with the falling of 35 trees, the collapse of 23 rooftops, and three lamp posts. More than 3,000 search, rescue, and firefighting personnel continue to work in the affected areas.
