Widespread Mockery of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi's Appearance in a New Video Game

The latest version of the game "E-Football," previously known as PES, has sparked widespread ridicule on social media due to the appearance given to global football stars, Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentine rival Lionel Messi. According to the specialized site "Give Me Sport," the game, which was officially launched yesterday and positions itself as a major competitor to the popular FIFA-EA game, received extensive sarcastic comments because Ronaldo’s and Messi’s appearances, as well as those of other stars like Neymar and Mbappé, bear little resemblance to reality, or even to something close to it.

It was noted that the in-game appearances of players differ significantly from those in the promotional version once the game is downloaded. Historically, the game has been licensed by major clubs in Europe, such as Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus, and Bayern Munich.

Some users tweeted that once they recognized the appearance of stars, especially Ronaldo and Messi, they decided to uninstall the game, which is currently only available for digital download. Others expressed their confusion, questioning whether this was a joke from the company or not.

Additionally, some discovered other laughable issues, such as Argentine Nicolás Otamendi of Benfica running with a dislocated shoulder, while Barcelona star Ansu Fati's hands seemed to be in an awkward position. They also complained that the game currently has a duration of just five minutes, which is puzzling.

It is worth mentioning that the game is initially free, but the producing company "Konami" may seek to impose a price on it, with the possibility of releasing the full version of the game. However, users believe that if the company decides to charge for the download, they may not find anyone interested in the game.
