West Ham United has converted the loan contract of Algerian winger Saïd Benrahma into a permanent transfer during the current winter transfer window.
West Ham announced that Saïd Benrahma has signed a contract with the English club that will keep him in the team until June 2026. The club officially declared today, Friday, that they have secured the permanent services of Saïd Benrahma after activating the purchase option in the player's contract.

Notably, Saïd Benrahma joined West Ham last summer on a one-season loan from Brentford.
West Ham United confirmed through an official statement on their website the details of Benrahma's new contract with the English club, stating that the Algerian signed a five-year deal for £25 million.
The statement highlighted that Benrahma has delivered impressive performances with the Hammers recently, contributing to the activation of the permanent purchase option, allowing him to remain in the Premier League on a long-term contract.
Benrahma has been performing well with the team, having assisted three goals, including two in the Premier League and another in the FA Cup, participating in 14 matches across all competitions for West Ham.
Manager David Moyes has confidence in Benrahma's abilities, as shown in his recent statements defending the player following fluctuations in his performance.
It is noteworthy that the Algerian star Saïd Benrahma has played 14 matches with West Ham in all competitions, contributing to the team’s position of fifth in the Premier League standings.
