Lebanese artist Walid Halani received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while in the United Arab Emirates.
Walid Halani shared a photo on his Instagram account documenting the moment he received the first dose of the vaccine, captioning it: "Today I received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Thank you to the UAE and the Health Authority in Dubai for the wonderful care."
In the past, the family of artist Assi Halani was infected with COVID-19. In November 2020, Walid Halani revealed that he and all his family members had contracted the virus. He stated, "I want to let you know that all my family members contracted the virus. I was traveling to an affected country, and I transmitted the infection to Abu Walid. Um Walid had it for a long time, and Walid's sister also had it. But thank God, we have now recovered and are well, thanks to God."
