Apple Faces Outrage and Calls for Apology Over

Apple has sparked widespread anger globally after releasing a new set of emojis for the "iOS 15.4" update that includes an icon of a "pregnant man." The company also added two other emojis, including a gay pregnant person and a person wearing a crown, which has caused significant confusion and calls for apologies and the removal of the images.

This move is seen as part of ongoing efforts by emoji creators to make digital expression more inclusive by introducing LGBTQ+ symbols among other emojis, according to the American newspaper "New York Post."

However, the step backfired, with one person tweeting: "How can a man be pregnant? We have failed as a civilization." Another mocked it saying: "Pornography mafia." Other tweets called on the company for an apology and corrective actions.

Despite the backlash, the company has not responded to the wave of criticism and fierce backlash following the new update. The new operating system is still in the testing phase, but the final version is expected to include 37 emojis, according to available information.
