Israeli Army Releases Video of Arresting

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett congratulated security forces on the arrest of the last two escapees from Gilboa Prison, Ayman Kamamji and Munadel Anfiteh, in Jenin after about two weeks of pursuit. Bennett stated, "It's over, all the terrorists have been captured and will return to prison," considering it a result of an "impressive, smart, and swift operation" conducted by the Shin Bet, the police, and the Israel Defense Forces, according to a correspondent from "Al-Hurra." He expressed thanks to "the security agencies that worked day and night, including on Saturdays and holidays, to close this chapter," emphasizing that "what may be disrupted can be fixed."

For his part, Israeli military spokesman Avichai Adraee published a video on his Twitter account documenting the arrest operation, revealing some details, stating: "Security forces entered Jenin and isolated and surrounded the building where the terrorists were hiding." Adraee added that shots were fired around the building until the escapees exited "without resistance and without weapons," noting the arrest of two individuals who aided the escapees.

Earlier, the police said in a statement that the wanted individuals were captured alive without resistance and were taken for interrogation by the General Security Service. The Israeli police announced early Sunday that troops from the Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet arrested the last two escapees from Gilboa Prison in Jenin after about two weeks of pursuit. Previously, Israeli authorities had arrested 4 of the 6 escapees from Gilboa Prison, bringing all of the fugitives back into custody. The six Palestinians who escaped from prison on September 6 had dug a tunnel in their cell. Israeli officials stated that they would investigate any gaps that allowed their escape.
