Khaled Sarhan in "El-Maddah" and His Conflict with His Brother Hamada Helal

Artist Khaled Sarhan revealed the nature of the relationship he shares with artist Hamada Helal in the series "El-Maddah," which is set to compete in the upcoming Ramadan drama season.

Khaled disclosed the dramatic conflict that arises between him and his brother Hamada Helal within the events of the series. Sarhan portrays the character "Hassan, the son of Sheikh Salam," who is the brother of "Saber, the son of Sheikh Salam," played by Hamada Helal.

In a press statement, Khaled Sarhan confirmed that the production team aimed to create a timeline to increase the number of filming days significantly to deliver a large portion of the initial episodes to the producing entity as quickly as possible to keep up with the upcoming Ramadan season.

He continued, stating that the project presents many challenges due to its dense and fast-paced events, with no easy scenes. The creators provide a rich artistic experience for the viewers, keeping them in a state of excitement and suspense throughout the series. This is what the creators and stars of the show aim for, offering a narrative filled with rich events.

Sarhan noted that the events of "El-Maddah" revolve around spirituality, invocations, hymns, religious chants, dhikr sessions, and praises, among others.

It is worth mentioning that "El-Maddah" stars Hamada Helal, Nasreen Tafesh, Ahmed Badir, Khaled Sarhan, Mohamed Ezz, Gamal Abdel Nasser, Donia Abdel Aziz, Hanan Suleiman, Mohsen Mansour, Mohamed El-Sawy, Hady Khafaga, Tamer Shaltout, Sobhi Khalil, Abeer Farouk, Mahmoud Amer, Haidi Rafaat, Basma Maher, and others. The screenplay is written by Amin Jamal, Walid Abu Al-Majd, and Sherif Yousry, with cinematography by Karim Ashour and directed by Ahmed Samir Farag.
