A Saudi citizen died immediately following an attack by two trained dogs in America, according to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Watan." The newspaper reported that the victim, Saad bin Ayash Al-Anzi (56 years old), passed away last weekend in New Mexico, USA, as a result of an attack by two dogs living at his neighbor's home.
The victim's brother, Saud, stated that while Saad was returning home, he was fiercely attacked by the two dogs, leading to severe injuries that required hospitalization, but he ultimately succumbed to those injuries. He added that his brother had two sons and a daughter, and he had a good relationship with his neighbors and was well-liked by the community.
Police investigations confirmed that his neighbor, who owns the dogs, is implicated in the case for neglecting to restrain the dogs. However, she mentioned in the investigations that she had done so, but did not know who had released them.
One witness claimed that while walking in the street, he saw the two dogs tearing Al-Anzi apart, and he was covered in blood. The deceased was buried last Saturday in a Muslim cemetery after arrangements were made with the Islamic center, attended by members of the Islamic community. The deceased's brother has called for the intervention of the Saudi embassy in America to appoint a lawyer to follow up on the investigations.
