The Public Prosecution of Qasr al-Nil in Egypt has received the final forensic report regarding the death of Syrian director Hatem Ali, who passed away in a well-known hotel in Cairo.
The forensic report stated, after performing an autopsy and taking samples, that the death was natural and there were no signs of criminal suspicion. It was also found that the Syrian director was fully dressed, and there were no indications of violence in his room. Director Hatem Ali was found dead in his room, and the police received a report from the hotel; investigation officers then went to the scene, and the Public Prosecution of Qasr al-Nil also went to the hotel to inspect the location where the body was found. It was determined that there were no signs of violence at the scene, and an examination of the body revealed no cuts or bruises. The prosecution then ordered the review of surveillance cameras and summoned hotel staff, particularly those who discovered the body, for questioning.
Syrian director Hatem Ali was born in 1962; he was a director, actor, and writer, having begun his career with playwriting and writing dramatic texts and short stories before graduating from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus in 1986.
