Lebanese artist Carole Samaha announced the release of her new song "Hayati," which is her first foray into rap music.
Carole revealed that the song will be released on digital music platforms next Wednesday, March 3, and features French-Moroccan rapper "Lartiste," Kuwaiti rapper "Dafi," and DJ "Youssef." She shared a promotional poster for the song on her Facebook account, accompanied by the caption: "Stay tuned for my new rap song... Hayati on Wednesday, March 3, on all digital platforms."
In one of her press statements, Carole mentioned that she might consider producing festival songs if the opportunity arises, stating, "I wouldn’t mind that, but with a different concept, and it must be studied, especially since this genre of music has its audience and listeners." When asked if she would collaborate on a festival song with Hamou Bika, Shakosh, or Omar Kamal if requested, she responded: "Why not? We could do that especially if it’s a good idea, and they are successful in their work, but my musical style is different from theirs."
It is worth mentioning that Carole's latest work is the song "Shukran," which director Batoul Arafa was able to present in a new and different way. She brought together the two big stars Hani Shaker and Carole Samaha in an exceptional and unique manner, in two songs shot as music videos.
