Moroccan artist Samira Said thanked all her fans who wished her a happy birthday through her social media page.
She posted a picture of herself and wrote: "Although I usually do not celebrate my birthday, how wonderful it is to feel happiness every time I see this amount of love and sincere feelings." She added, "From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. Just as you wished for my well-being and health, I wish you all health and peace of mind, especially as we go through this pandemic." Samira concluded her message by saying, "I pray from the bottom of my heart for peace and for us to regain our lives... you have my love."
Samira received many birthday messages from her fellow artists, the most notable being Lebanese artist Najwa Karam, who wrote: "I hope to celebrate your birthday with good health and success always. We all love you, dear teacher in art and ethics. Happy Birthday." Samira responded to Najwa’s greeting, saying: "I love and respect you very much too... may God keep you loving and always shining like the sun, O sun of song."
