Ali Hamida in Tears: I Need Treatment but My Finances Don't Allow It

The artist Ali Hamida revealed that his health condition is extremely difficult, and he wants to undergo treatment in a hospital, but his financial situation does not permit it.

In a phone call during the program "Al-Hekaya" with the journalist Amr Adib, he stated: "I have a gallbladder stone that caused an obstruction, and also issues with my colon, and my finances do not allow it, as I paid 13 million pounds in taxes for the properties they seized." The artist could not hold back tears on air and added, "I am following up with some doctors in Alexandria because I had to go back to my home in Matrouh to be near my family. The final report on my condition is supposed to come out tomorrow, and I need treatment, but my finances don’t allow it."

Amr Adib explained during the episode that he received a call from the head of the actors' union, Ashraf Zaki, who confirmed that the union, along with the Federation of Unions, will cover his treatment and will contact him to transfer him to a hospital. It was also mentioned that the head of the musicians' union, Hani Shakir, called the program and confirmed that the musicians' union will also reach out to Hamida and will take care of his hospital transfer and treatment costs.
