The InterNations website published a list of the top ten countries in the world for work and living, which does not include any Arab countries. Bahrain ranked first among Arab countries and 12th globally, followed by Qatar, then the UAE. The top ten countries are as follows:

The ranking of Arab countries is as follows:
1. Bahrain - 12th globally

3. UAE - 18th globally
4. Oman - 24th globally
5. Saudi Arabia - 42nd globally
6. Egypt - 55th globally
7. Kuwait - 59th globally
