The South Giza Prosecution in Egypt has ordered the detention of three individuals involved in the strangling murder of a child and the abandonment of his body in a cemetery to steal the "Tuk Tuk" he was driving.

In detail, the Atfih police station received a report about the discovery of the body of an 11-year-old boy, who lived in the area. His body was found in a cemetery in Atfih, with a rope around his neck. Upon questioning his father, he confirmed that his son had left with his "Tuk Tuk" for work and had not returned. After searching for him, the boy was found at the reported location, and his "Tuk Tuk" had been stolen.

An official stated that investigation teams, led by the Public Security Sector and including the General Department of Giza Investigations, identified the perpetrator, an individual residing in the area. After legal procedures were followed, he was arrested, and he confessed to committing the crime for the purpose of theft.

The suspect admitted that he had gotten into the "Tuk Tuk" with the victim under the pretense of heading to an area within the locality. Upon reaching the site where the body was found, he overpowered the victim with a rope until he was dead, then dumped him in the cemetery and fled with the "Tuk Tuk."

He led the authorities to two accomplices, described as "of bad intent," one of whom is a plasterer and the other a farmer, both residing in the Tamia police station area in Fayoum. The official noted that in coordination with the Fayoum Security Directorate, the other two suspects were apprehended, and the stolen "Tuk Tuk" was recovered. The prosecution has ordered the detention of all three suspects pending the investigation.
