Eyes are turning to the session scheduled for Tuesday to elect the Speaker of the House and his deputy, along with the council's body. Parliamentary sources following the matter indicated a clear resolution in this file that may facilitate the election of Speaker Nabih Berri for a seventh term with a comfortable majority. The visit made by "the Free Patriotic Movement" candidate for the vice presidency, Deputy Elias Bou Saab, to Ain el-Tineh and his meeting with Berri was highlighted.
Member of the "Strong Lebanon" Bloc, Deputy Asaad Dergham, mentioned in a conversation with "Anbaa" that the bloc has adopted Bou Saab's candidacy for the position of Vice President of the House, denying the existence of any exchanges with Berri. He stated that there are principled positions, emphasizing that just as Berri was our ally in the parliamentary elections, the relationship with him has remained good. Thus, we have based our bet on this alliance without any further conditions.
