The husband of the sister of Captain Mohamed Abu Jabal, the goalkeeper of the Egyptian national team, stated that Captain Abu Jabal began his football career at Al-Wasta Youth Club in his village. During that period, he worked hard and was committed to his training, receiving his education at Farouk I Institute. Throughout his education, he persevered until he succeeded in joining the Asyut Cement Club, where he shone and everyone recognized that he would have a notable future in goalkeeping for the national team and would become one of the best goalkeepers in Egypt. He played for the youth and junior national teams, then joined Enppi Club, subsequently moving to Zamalek Club, and later transferred to Smouha Club. He worked hard to achieve his dream of joining the Egyptian national team, which he successfully accomplished, bringing joy to his relatives, the people of his village, and all Egyptians.
He continued by noting that all of Captain Mohamed Abu Jabal's relatives are goalkeepers; his brother was a prominent player at Al-Wasta Youth Club and Asyut Cement Club, while another brother holds a master's and doctorate in sports medicine and played for the Petroleum Asyut and Asyut Cement teams. He emphasized that the family home is a sporting household with a passion for football, leading most family members to choose to play as goalkeepers out of love for Captain Mohamed Abu Jabal.
Ali Moussa, the son of Captain Mohamed Abu Jabal's sister, mentioned that he has been striving and working hard since playing with Al-Wasta Youth Club to achieve his dream of joining the national team, citing Captain Essam El-Hadary as his role model. He always dreamed of reaching his level and achieving the significant football accomplishments that El-Hadary has attained, and indeed he managed to become a goalkeeper for the national team after continuous effort and hard work.
