Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a speech addressed to the people of his country, stated that the upcoming winter will be the hardest in Ukraine's history due to extremely high gas prices. Zelensky noted that the price of gas in Europe has risen to over $3,300 per thousand cubic meters. He assured the citizens of Ukraine that the Kyiv authorities are doing their utmost to prepare the country for the approaching winter under these circumstances. Zelensky added, "This winter will indeed be the hardest in our history." He described the gas situation in the country as "very dangerous and very severe."
