American-led "International Coalition" aircraft executed an aerial landing operation during which several militants from Turkish-backed armed groups were arrested in the countryside of Al-Hasakah province, including Lebanese, Saudi, and Australian individuals. Local sources informed Sputnik news agency that an aerial landing carried out by the "International Coalition" targeted a group of "ISIS" militants who managed to reach the Syrian-Turkish border, specifically to the Al-Hawarna neighborhood adjacent to the border in the city of Ras Al-Ain and in the village of Alouk east of Ras Al-Ain, with the help of smugglers operating on both sides of the contact lines controlled by Kurdish and Turkmen factions, respectively under American and Turkish forces.
The sources reported that the air landing occurred on Tuesday, November 22, followed by a clash with six militants lasting nearly ten minutes, which ended with them being targeted by a drone before being arrested, with three of them injured. Among the identified was a Syrian ISIS leader known as "Abu Al-Zahra" from the Deir Ezzor countryside, along with two others from the Lebanese city of Tripoli, while a fourth was of Saudi nationality and a fifth Australian, in addition to a sixth individual who was a disabled young man from Raqqa province.
The sources noted that the "Coalition" released the homeowner where they were located, a smuggler who was supposed to take them to Turkish territory for a fee of $400,000.
In another narrative of the incident, opposition sources claimed that the individuals evacuated during the operation were informants for "International Coalition" intelligence before joining the ranks of the "Eastern Liberators" group affiliated with the Turkish army, continuing their work in providing coordinates to the "International Coalition" about "jihadist" leaders who were previously part of "ISIS" and "Al-Qaeda" for targeting them.
The sources indicated that the cell consists of nine individuals spread across several areas under the control of Turkish forces and Turkmen factions, but the six evacuated by the "Coalition" were the most prominent and were reported to be managing the cell.
The sources mentioned that "the complex operation was coordinated between the forces of the 'International Coalition' and the Turkish army," and it is likely that the helicopters involved in the operation entered from the "Incirlik" base in Turkey.
At the same time as the operation, local sources informed Sputnik that the "Eastern Liberators" group, coordinated with Turkish intelligence, raided the headquarters of several militants in the Ras Al-Ain area in Al-Hasakah and the town of Siloq in Raqqa province, which is under Turkish control, on charges of coordinating with the "International Coalition" base in the Al-Omar oil field in eastern Deir Ezzor, indicating that they arrested a number of them, primarily from Deir Ezzor.
Opposition activists circulated recordings in recent hours showing members of the cell providing information to an individual working at the "American base" in the Al-Omar oil field in Deir Ezzor about the headquarters of what is known as the "National Army" and other Turkmen factions under Turkish army control in the occupied city of Ras Al-Ain.
The sources clarified that the information provided to the American base also included details about the leader of the "Eastern Liberators" group, known as Abu Hatim Shuqra, the commander of the "Eastern Army," known as Captain Hassan Hamada, and his deputy Abu Al-Harith from Baqrass. The recordings also revealed that the cell supplied the "Coalition" with coordinates of locations targeted recently in the Ras Al-Ain area by unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to circulated recordings, the members of the cell are (Salim Al-Khalid, Ubaid Al-Shaibi, Ahmad Al-Zaal, Alaa Al-Salem, Abu Youssef Al-Juhishi, Maher Dahham Sheikh Ali, Ali Faisal Al-Mohammed, and Mansour Suleiman Al-Adad), all originating from the town of Shahil in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
In the same context, a group of leaders from Turkmen factions and the Al-Bukharan tribe issued two similar statements disavowing the individuals involved from the security cell who are from the town of Shahil and their actions towards what they termed the "Syrian revolution."
It is noteworthy that American-led "International Coalition" aircraft had conducted operations in the Ras Al-Ain and Tal Abyad areas in Al-Hasakah and Raqqa provinces, one of which was acknowledged as targeting a leader of the "Guardians of Religion" group in the Tal Abyad countryside, while the second was unacknowledged and occurred in the Al-Adwaniya village in the occupied Ras Al-Ain area, resulting in the death of four elements of the "20th Division" affiliated with Turkmen factions, including a former leader from the terrorist "ISIS" organization.
