A groom disappeared two days before his wedding in Kafr El-Sheikh, Egypt, under mysterious circumstances, and his family continues to search for him without any information indicating whether he is alive. Mohammed Imran (58), the father of the missing young man Hazem (28), stated that for 70 days, he has been searching for his son in various locations around the city of Motobus in Kafr El-Sheikh, as well as in nearby villages and centers, but has been unable to find him.
According to the website Masrawy, the father revealed that his son went missing on June 16, 2021, just two days before his wedding scheduled for June 18. Hazem had gone to Motobus to fetch his bride from the salon, but the family, including his uncle and fiancée, was surprised to learn that he had not gone to the salon to pick her up.
He confirmed that he filed report number 2458 for the year 2021 at the Rashid police station in Beheira, since they reside in the coastal village 2, close to the city of Motobus in Kafr El-Sheikh. Consequently, the Beheira police began investigating the circumstances of his son's disappearance, which remains unresolved.
The father also accused two individuals who had fought with his son in Motobus. Following this, the police arrested them, but it was revealed that they were not involved in his disappearance. Subsequently, he received a phone call from someone trying to extort him for 100,000 Egyptian pounds in exchange for information about his son’s whereabouts, claiming that he was with someone who knew where he was.
The father mentioned that the extortionist has been arrested, and investigations are ongoing by the Rashid prosecution in Beheira, hoping to obtain information regarding his son's disappearance.
