Famous Model Disfigured After Cosmetic Surgery: My Pain is Unbearable

The tragedy of Canadian supermodel Linda Evangelista did not stop at a five-year isolation due to disfigurement caused by a well-known cosmetic treatment; her sorrows evolved into announcing that she no longer recognizes her body.

Evangelista, 56, spoke about what she described as a condition of "hiding and shame" that plagued her after she developed disfiguring lumps on her body due to the CoolSculpting procedure, a fat-freezing treatment preferred by those who wish to avoid surgical fat removal.

She can no longer bear her pain and, through Instagram, clarified that she now fears meeting acquaintances, emphasizing that she can no longer tolerate her daily tragedies and suffering. She expressed that she has grown afraid of open spaces and still does not look in the mirror or want to leave her home.

In September, the famous model announced that she had filed a $50 million lawsuit against the company responsible for the cosmetic treatment, stating that she is unable to work due to the complications arising from seven sessions she underwent in 2015.

She confirmed that the treatment developed hard, swollen, and painful lumps under her skin in her abdomen, arms, back, chest, thighs, and chin. She also clarified that she underwent two liposuction procedures, but they were unable to rectify the deformities.

The accused company refused to comment, affirming that the cases are ongoing and that their products are backed by more than 100 scientific publications and over 11 million treatments conducted worldwide. However, Linda responded that she suffers from permanent bumps that may not disappear, declaring that all she knows is that she does not want to hide anymore and that she will expose everything she has endured.
