A young man believed his wedding day would be the happiest day of his life, but it turned into a true tragedy after his friends playfully lifted him and then let him go, causing him to fall to the ground and suffer bone fractures. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. The incident occurred in the Bihor County area of Transylvania, Romania. The groom, named Liviu Filimon, arrived at the hospital with a spinal fracture, while the bride was left in shock and disbelief upon witnessing her husband fall to the ground.
According to Romanian media, the groom’s situation worsened when his friends attempted to lift him and put him in a chair, mistakenly believing he had not been harmed by the fall. However, as reported by the Romanian site bihorjust, the groom was actually unable to feel his legs. After the ambulance crew arrived at the scene, he was quickly transported to the emergency hospital, starting a treatment journey instead of going home with his bride.
Romanian outlets have reported that the young man contacted a lawyer to explore the possibility of filing a lawsuit against his friends for endangering his life and ruining what was supposed to be the happiest and most significant day for him.
