Infinity Bridge Opens to the Public: 6 Ways to Access It

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai announced the availability of six alternative routes to access the Infinity Bridge, which has opened to the public today. Simultaneously, the Shindagha Tunnel will be closed for two months in the direction from Deira to Bur Dubai to complete the linking works of the Infinity Bridge and the new bridges with the Shindagha Tunnel. However, traffic in the Shindagha Tunnel will remain open for road users traveling from Bur Dubai to Deira during this period.

The available alternative routes for traffic coming from various directions, specified by the authority to ensure smooth flow towards Deira Corniche and the Infinity Bridge—which has a capacity of 24,000 vehicles per hour in both directions—include the following options:

- Use the new overhead bridge on Deira Corniche for those coming from Deira Islands heading to Bur Dubai and Jumeirah.

- Turn left at the intersection on Al Gharoud Street towards Infinity Bridge to Bur Dubai and Jumeirah via the new overhead bridge on the corniche for those coming from Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Street.

- Continue on Al Gharoud Street passing Abu Bakr Al Siddiq intersection towards Infinity Bridge to Bur Dubai and Jumeirah via the new overhead bridge on the corniche for those coming from Al Mamzar.

- Proceed towards Infinity Bridge via the corniche using the new overhead bridge then towards Bur Dubai and Jumeirah for those coming from the Omar Bin Al Khattab intersection.

- Visitors coming from the Mosque intersection should go to the Omar Bin Al Khattab intersection and then turn left towards Infinity Bridge or continue straight on Al Musalla Street to the corniche towards Infinity Bridge from the surface intersection JN13.

- Utilize the traffic coming from Deira Islands Metro Station and the bus station, using the surface road under the new overhead bridge on the corniche, to head to the corniche and Infinity Bridge.
