Syrian Social Nationalist Party Denies News of Alleged Raid on Batroun's Office

The Syrian Social Nationalist Party denied news regarding an alleged raid on the Batroun office, clarifying that imposters claiming to lead the party through forgery and misconduct are deeply involved in spreading falsehoods and fabricating scenarios that exist only in their imaginations.

The National News Agency reported a statement from the party this evening, noting that various media and websites circulated news about an alleged raid on the Batroun office. The statement explained that these imposters are immersed in spreading falsehoods and rumors, emphasizing that the Batroun office is legally owned by the party, which possesses ownership documents in accordance with proper procedures. The statement highlighted that there is no need for a raid for the rightful owner to enter their property, as the office was empty of individuals, thus claiming a raid is a distortion of reality as acknowledged by the statement of the imposters.

The statement also clarified that the party elections purportedly produced a new management, which is a continuation of unethical, unlawful, and irregular practices, especially in light of the central party court's decision to annul the election results and assign the executive authority, led by party president Wael Al-Hosni, to conduct new elections, aside from the various judicial rulings, including the ruling from the Court of Cassation on this matter.

The party pointed out that the imposters' statement intentionally attacked the party by personalizing the conflict. It stressed that the narrative circulating about elements linked to MP Haradan raiding the Batroun office is fabricated and contradicts reality, asserting that those present in the office were social nationalists operating within the party framework. The party reaffirmed its commitment to addressing matters within institutional and legal frameworks, based on the principle that regularized social nationalists have the full and absolute right to access party offices and be present there.

The statement urged some media outlets and websites that hastily spread news based on statements without verifying their authenticity, which contributes to obscuring the truth and serves the interests of rumor mongers and unfounded news, to exercise accuracy and objectivity when disseminating news related to the party. It also noted that the party reserves its right to pursue those spreading rumors and impersonating its leadership.
