Syrian artist Lilia Al-Atrash revealed her infection with the novel coronavirus through a post on her personal Facebook account.
The artist announced her test result in a post saying, "Okay corona positive," and was met with an outpouring of comments from her fans and colleagues. One commented, "May you be safe, it will pass easily, stay strong," while another wrote, "I hope the symptoms are mild and you overcome it quickly, take care." One follower advised her, saying, "Get well soon, my dear. Stay on vitamin C, vitamin D, and drink one cup of star anise tea every day." Colleagues from the artistic community, including Amal Arafa, her ex-husband artist Abdul Moneim Amayri, and fellow artist Sosn Mikhaeel, as well as the esteemed artist Sabah Al-Jazairi, also wished her health, safety, and a speedy recovery.
In a different context, Al-Atrash congratulated her audience on the arrival of the new year, posting a picture of herself on Instagram and commenting, "How narrow is life without a glimmer of hope. A year has passed in all its details, and I hope this year will be lighter, kinder, and gentler. Wishing you all the best."
It is noteworthy that Al-Atrash's latest works include "Al-Haramlek," the second part written by Suleiman Abdulaziz, directed by Tamer Ishaq, and produced by Klaket Media and Artistic Production, aired during the last Ramadan season, where she played the character "Itr." She also participated in the series "Harakat Banat" in the role of "Sara."
