The British newspaper "Express" described Dubai as a "land of opportunities" for expatriates coming from all over the world, referring to it as the "Monaco" of the Middle East due to the luxurious lifestyle it offers. In a report published yesterday, the British newspaper highlighted the affluent living opportunities in Dubai for its residents, noting that the number of expatriates living in Dubai is estimated to be around 2.5 million, including many British nationals.
The report stated that Dubai attracts people from all corners of the globe because of the numerous benefits it provides, with tax-free salaries being a significant draw. It included interviews with several British expatriates living in Dubai, including a 47-year-old named Giuri Mark, who holds a "wonderful" supervisory position overseeing a chain of music stores with 12 branches across the emirate.
Mark explained that he did not plan to stay permanently in Dubai; it all began with a short visit. He said, "I didn't realize at the time what my ten-day visit to Dubai would turn into. My return flight home was delayed multiple times, and I thought I would try to see if I could get a job. Then everything happened suddenly; a supervisory job opportunity appeared, allowing me health insurance and a round-trip ticket every year to see my family."
He added, "They take care of expatriates. I believe that the Emirate of Dubai is very keen on looking after its residents," and concluded by mentioning the social life of expatriates, saying, "I think if expatriates commit themselves, Dubai will truly seem like a land of opportunities."
