The artist Bahaa El Kafy appeared in a video circulated by social media users, where she was with her husband, after a long absence from her followers.
In the video, Bahaa is wearing a swimsuit while inside a swimming pool surrounded by snow, accompanied by her husband and two other people. She asks her husband about the outside temperature, to which he replies, "minus four," while inside the pool it is 50 degrees, indicating that she is swimming in hot water, unlike some athletes who swim in icy waters.
The viewers of the video split into two groups; some criticized the Tunisian star, while others were impressed and encouraged her to continue sharing her pictures and daily life, urging her not to distance herself from social media that connects her with them.
Bahaa El Kafy shared a series of photos with her husband and friends, including one of them in the pool, where she stated, "Thank you, Corona, for making us enjoy small things in life! Like realizing that the cold breeze brushes against our faces, and admiring the beauty of snow and its sound when it melts and falls from the tree branches." She continued, "Whether you’re laughing aloud with real friends or enjoying silence, be grateful that you are still alive."
It is noteworthy that Bahaa El Kafy married Lebanese Wassim Shaqir in 2012 after a three-year love story, and she retired from the arts after her marriage and has not produced any artistic work, choosing to dedicate herself to her home and family. Bahaa gave birth to her daughter Joya in August 2016, while her son Kayan was born in 2018.
