In another context, Mohamed Hamaki has joined the short video platform "TikTok" and shared his first video on his new account, stating: "Follow my account on TikTok." Notably, Hamaki previously posted on his Facebook account about the role of civil society and its "soft power" in supporting young athletes who raise Egypt's name in international sports events. He wrote on Facebook, "I have been closely following our champions in all individual sports for a while, and I recently observed their presence on social media to introduce the Egyptian people to them, their achievements, and how hard they are working to win medals and elevate Egypt on the global and Olympic podiums."
Hamaki continued, saying, "Out of social responsibility towards these champions, I decided to support them in the upcoming phase by dedicating a portion of the revenues from the concerts that will be held in the near future, once the artistic activity and concerts resume, to prepare for the Tokyo 2021 Olympics. This experience, God willing, will mark the first phase of preparing a strong Olympic team for Egypt capable of genuine competition in the Paris 2024 Olympics and Los Angeles 2028."
