Artist Ahmed Adam spoke in an older video, which has been circulated on some social media platforms, about his issues with stars. This video dates back to the early 2000s. He stated: "The era of Adel Imam in terms of producing a large number of films has ended, as he would release around five works in cinemas for a single star, and if two of those five films succeeded, it would be considered a great success. This is no longer possible now, and I never meant to say that his era has ended in terms of competition."
This interview was part of the program "Kalam Min Waraq," hosted by journalist Mahmoud Said on the "Dream" channel. Ahmed Adam continued by mentioning Mohamed Henedy, saying: "Mohamed Henedy stole one of my ideas for the poster of my film with photographer Adel Mubarak."
It is noted that Ahmed Adam currently has a film showing in cinemas titled "Saber and Radi," which is written by Mohamed Nabawy, directed by Akram Farid, and stars Razan Moghazy, Mohsen Mohy Eddin, and Salwa Othman. The film's plot unfolds in a comedic framework, which is typical for Ahmed Adam's works, although in this project, he distances himself from the character of "Al-Qarmouty," which he portrayed in his last two films. Once filming concluded, the movie faced controversy and a crisis due to its title being similar to a song of the same name by the singer George Wassouf, leading Ahmed Adam to defend against the controversy.
