Syrian actress Slaf Foukhri sent an emotional message to her father, the critic Mohamed Foukhri, through her social media platforms.
Foukhri shared a series of photos with her father on Instagram, stating: "Since I was little, whenever I struggle, I find comfort in your embrace. Whenever I feel lost, you gather me back. Whenever I face difficulties, I seek refuge in your heart. Whenever I search for myself, I find myself with you. I've grown up, Dad. I’m a mother now, and you still don’t believe that I’ve grown." She continued, "But let me tell you something? Don’t believe me if I protest and say I'm not a child. Don't tell me that and don’t tell me to act this way or that, but between you and me, I love to remain in front of you, that little girl, and you will always be the big one, the biggest person in the universe."
Fans and fellow artists expressed their affection and admiration for her genuine feelings, with notable comments like that of actress Sabah Al-Jazairi saying, "God keep you both together." Young artist Yamen Al-Hajli wrote: "May God continue to bless him above your head as a support and companion, and may he live long." Many others, including Rabea Al-Zayyat, Mahyar Khodour, Amer Al-Ali, Nadin Salama, and more, also interacted with her heartfelt message.
