The Lebanese artist Yara confirmed her commitment to COVID-19 precautionary measures by staying at home multiple times and ensuring her safety and that of her loved ones since the outbreak of the virus.
Yara shared with her audience on social media how she spends her time, stating: "I have watched so many movies and series during the 'Corona' period that I have started rewatching films, and I have no problem doing so, especially with the old Egyptian films." She added: "The important thing is for you and for me to not lose ourselves, disregard your neglect and stay at home. How do you spend your time at home and what are you watching? May God be with everyone."
Previously, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) appointed the Lebanese star Yara as a regional ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa, during a virtual ceremony using video conferencing technology. Following her appointment, Yara said: "I look forward to working with my friends at UNICEF to promote children's issues throughout the region."
The Lebanese artist Yara also celebrated Christmas and wished during this holiday for goodness, peace, and love to spread among everyone in all countries of the world, hoping that everyone would adhere to guidelines until the COVID-19 pandemic is overcome.
