The company "APEX," one of the largest international airline associations in the world, has revealed its annual ranking of the best airlines in the world in terms of safety, sustainability, and service, following a passenger survey. According to "APEX," awards for airlines are determined after a year of gathering passenger surveys to evaluate the flying experience across several flights in each class, including economy, business, and first class. This evaluation is combined with expert reports that audit and appropriately assess each airline's product. Among the assessments are the service received by customers, such as cabin seats and meals, which ultimately determines the score for selecting eligible airlines for the "Global Level" award.
Among the seven airlines, there are three from the Middle East, two from Asia, and two from Europe, with no American airlines on the list. According to "APEX," the top seven distinguished airlines in customer service, safety, and sustainability are:
- **Emirates Airlines**: Based in Dubai, Emirates has a historical reputation for customer service, ranking fourth in the Skytrax top 100 airlines in the world this year. "APEX" awarded Emirates the best in-flight entertainment product, noting its focus on "quality first," "high standards," and "engaged crew."
- **Japan Airlines**: This airline also achieved a strong position with Skytrax this year, ranking fifth, making its inclusion in the "APEX" list unsurprising. Skytrax awarded Japan Airlines three awards, while "APEX" highlighted its "exceptional hospitality" and consistently good service.
- **KLM Royal Dutch Airlines**: Although it ranked 16th in this year's Skytrax list, KLM received significant praise from "APEX" for its sustainability efforts. According to "APEX," KLM is a leader in reducing its environmental impact and has "remarkable efficiency and engagement" in its short-haul flights.
- **Qatar Airways**: Qatar continues to collect accolades this year, having ranked first in the Skytrax ranking and second on the list of best airlines for business travelers. "APEX" praised its "flawless dish presentations" and "distinctive design," as well as its spacious and high-quality cabin.
- **Saudi Airlines**: While Saudi did not rank within the top 20 according to Skytrax, it performed well with participants in the "APEX" survey and professional reviewers. Saudi Airlines is distinguished by its safety, innovation, hospitality, and in-flight meals, being one of the few airlines in the world featuring chefs on board to customize meals.
- **Singapore Airlines**: Skytrax and Business Traveler awards have consistently recognized Singapore Airlines as a world-class airline, and "APEX" commended the airline for its ongoing service, customer retention, and "notable brand integrity."
- **Turkish Airlines**: Although it did not rank in the top 10 of Skytrax, it exceeded "APEX" standards. The airline is renowned for its high level of safety, generosity, brand integrity, and cuisine.
