Egyptian Actor Expresses Deep Sadness Over Mohamed Ramadan's Denial

The Egyptian comedian actor, Reda Idris, revealed on Thursday his sadness regarding what Mohamed Ramadan says about his beginnings, as he does not mention Idris's name every time and seems to have forgotten who introduced him to the art world.

In his interview on the program "Cairo Today," Reda Idris explained that he was the one who introduced Mohamed Ramadan to the late artist, Said Saleh, so that he could co-star in his play "Aadin Leh," which marked Ramadan's first artistic appearance. Idris shared details of how he discovered Mohamed Ramadan, stating, "I was once surprised by a simple actor at the door of the theater who has now become one of the 'emperors of the era,' as he expressed, and he came to me saying, 'Mr. Reda, we live off your comedy, I wish to meet Mr. Said Saleh.'"

Idris noted that he felt pity for Mohamed Ramadan at that time and decided to help him. He introduced him to Said Saleh in a good manner and added that he used to assist Ramadan on stage to make the audience laugh and remember him upon leaving the hall. Reda emphasized that after Mohamed Ramadan became famous, he stopped asking about him and always claims that Said Saleh discovered him without mentioning Idris's role in this matter or acknowledging what he had provided for him back then. Idris stated that every time he hears what Mohamed Ramadan says in his media interviews, he feels a deep sadness due to his contrasting words about his beginnings.

It is worth mentioning that Reda Idris has participated in many artistic works in television, cinema, and theater, including the film "Lawyer of Khula" with Hani Ramzy, "The Emperor" with Ahmed Zaki, and the series "The Family of Hajja Metwali," starring Nour El Sherif.
