"Welcome to this view" on the Airport Road.. Replacing Party Logos with Images of Lebanon

Tourism Minister in the caretaker government, Walid Nassar, called on "expatriates and all Lebanese, families and friends, to come to Lebanon during the summer season." This was during the launch of the Ministry of Tourism's 2022 summer campaign titled "Welcome to this view," with the slogan "I miss Lebanon this summer." Minister Nassar continued from the vicinity of the airport, the campaign has invited to "replace party logos on the roads with images of the beauty of Lebanon and its natural places." He stated at the airport entrance, in the presence of the mayor of Ghobeiri, Maan al-Khalil, and several advertising company representatives, "The Ministry of Tourism's advertising campaign announced two months ago will start from Beirut Airport, and we will see the slogan 'Welcome to this view' along the Beirut Airport road. I promise you that this advertising campaign will be executed across all regions and starting today until next week, more than 150 advertising boards will be put up."

He thanked all private advertising companies that "supported and provided all services to the Ministry of Tourism," addressing all Lebanese, especially politicians, with the statement, "Everything can be achieved through love, respect, and understanding." Nassar also called out to expatriates, inviting them on behalf of himself and all Lebanese to "come to Lebanon, their homeland, which is waiting for them and has all the tourist components, as the ministry is making efforts with all tourism institutions and syndicates regarding prices, quality, and the availability of facilities for all tourism activities throughout all regions."

He urged, as a "citizen and not as a minister," friends and family to come to Lebanon, which needs them, not only to spend money, as all tourism institutions remain resilient thanks to their support and the visitors. He hoped that "this summer will be a bright and promising season," noting that "the Ministry of Tourism will accompany it day by day until the end of summer" and that "the ministry's plan will continue in all seasons."

Nassar wished for all media outlets, both visual and audio, as well as social media, to "report positive news, as Lebanon needs everyone and the Lebanese are a people that do not die," indicating that "Lebanon is a hospitable country and has all the components." He called for "not to be afraid of malicious rumors. All Lebanese are united, and we have surpassed the parliamentary elections and tensions, and today we have a new parliament that represents all of Lebanon regardless of the results; this is a constitutional entitlement we managed to achieve."

Nassar said, "Do not speak politics, but speak tourism," repeating the Ministry of Tourism's slogan "Welcome to this view, I miss Lebanon," "this summer." He thanked TBWA, the company that has supported the ministry from the first day of its campaign. The Ministry of Tourism's campaign to replace party logos continues in all regions, highlighting the "quick response as we requested it with love, respect, and dignity. This is how Lebanese should treat each other, not through challenge, because challenges won't lead us anywhere." He thanked the mayors, particularly the mayor of Ghobeiri, for their responsiveness to the Ministry of Tourism's request.
