After inviting Russian President Vladimir Putin to a "man-to-man" fight, Elon Musk received a response not from Putin, but from his Chechen ally. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov responded to the Tesla CEO's offer for a one-on-one battle to determine the fate of Ukraine, stating that Musk would face a quick defeat, according to a report by Business Insider. Kadyrov, an ally of Putin and ruler of the semi-autonomous Chechnya region in Russia, emphasized that Putin would easily overpower Musk, advising, "I do not recommend competing with Putin."

On Monday, Musk, the American billionaire considered the richest man in the world, challenged the Russian president to a "man-to-man" fight, as he stated via his Twitter account, demonstrating his solidarity with Ukraine. Musk tweeted, "I am here to challenge Vladimir Putin to a man-to-man fight," writing the Russian president's name in Russian while the rest of the tweet was in English.

Kadyrov expanded on his response through his Telegram account, referencing Putin's qualifications in judo but stating that this was not the main reason for Musk's impending defeat. He clarified that the American billionaire was merely a "businessman and Twitter blogger," while Putin is a "global politician and strategist." Instead, Kadyrov suggested that Musk should undergo training at one of the special forces academies in Chechnya or at the "Akhmat Combat Club," a series of Chechen boxing clubs named after his father, former Chechen leader Akhmad Kadyrov.

The billionaire is known for stirring controversy on Twitter, where his account has over 77 million followers. In February, Musk accused the regulatory body overseeing the stock exchange, which had imposed penalties on him in the past, of attempting to silence his freedom of expression.
