Morocco and Spain reopened their land borders in the enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla at midnight on Monday-Tuesday, according to correspondents from the French news agency. The borders had remained closed for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a diplomatic crisis between the two countries. The iron doors at the border crossing between Ceuta and Fnideq opened around 22:00 GMT, with dozens of cars crossing into the Spanish side, according to a reporter from AFP.
