The "Allianz" Stadium hosted the match between Italian club Juventus and their guest club Genoa in the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia.
In this match, young Tunisian player Hamza Rafia led his team Juventus to qualify for the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia, after defeating Genoa 3-2. The match extended into extra time after ending regulation time in a 2-2 draw. Juventus finished the first half leading 2-1. They opened the scoring early in the match with a goal from Dejan Kulusevski just two minutes into the game, after receiving a pass from Giorgio Chiellini, allowing him to break away and place the ball to the left of the Genoa goalkeeper.
Spanish forward Alvaro Morata added the second goal for Juventus in the 23rd minute, after receiving a pass from Kulusevski, enabling him to break away and place the ball to the right of the goalkeeper. Linart Tchebibora scored the only goal for Genoa in the 28th minute with a header that went to Buffon’s left, the Juventus goalkeeper.
In the second half, Genoa managed to equalize in the 74th minute with a powerful shot from Filippo Meligoni into the left side of Buffon’s goal. Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo came on as a substitute in the 88th minute for young player Wesley. The match moved to extra time, where young Tunisian Hamza Rafia scored the goal that secured Juventus's progression to the next round in the 104th minute.
It is worth mentioning that Juventus will play in the quarterfinals against the winner of the match between Sassuolo and Spal, which will take place this Thursday evening.
