Iraqi artist Shatha Hassoun recently shared her latest photos on social media, featuring a photoshoot in front of Burj Al Arab in the UAE.
In the photo, Shatha appeared in an elegant look reminiscent of fashion models. However, this did not save her from criticism for wearing short clothing, which surprised her large audience who was not accustomed to seeing her in such a somewhat daring appearance, as described by some. Negative comments annoyed other fans who defended Shatha, labeling her as respectful and possessing high morals.
It’s worth noting that Shatha Hassoun spent her life in Morocco and completed her graduate studies in France, coming from a liberal family. She has been wearing short clothing since participating in "Star Academy" and winning the title in 2007. She does not wear short clothes to provoke reactions or to boost her name like many Arab artists do.
It should be mentioned that Shatha's fashion reflects her liberal lifestyle, yet she remains committed to social customs and values, without engaging in any questionable behaviors typically seen in the morally flawed entertainment industry.
