A horrific incident occurred in the Sharqia Governorate in Egypt when a 13-year-old boy ran over four girls with his father's car in Abu Hammad, resulting in serious injuries. Egyptian media reported that the boy collided with the girls after recklessly driving his father's vehicle at high speed and fled the scene immediately after the accident, leaving his car, which sustained significant damage.
Security forces arrived at the accident site, and upon examination, it was found that while four high school girls were walking along the road, they were struck by a speeding private car, leading to their injuries. They were taken to Abu Hammad Central Hospital, where three were discharged after their conditions improved, while the fourth injured girl was transferred to a hospital in Zagazig for urgent surgery due to the seriousness of her condition (pelvic fracture).
Sharqia Investigations is intensifying efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspect by reviewing surveillance cameras in the area, and a necessary report has been filed, with the Public Prosecution taking over the investigation.
