New Hospitals and Wards to Combat Coronavirus in Chouf and Sidon

MP Mohammad Al-Hajar considered that the registration of 17,984 from the Chouf district on the ministry's platform out of 30,279 citizens in the Chouf is evidence of the community's awareness regarding vaccination to overcome this pandemic.

The National News Agency reported that MP Mohammad Al-Hajar stated that the registration of 17,984 from the Chouf district on the ministry's platform, out of 30,279, along with the opening of the governmental hospital in Siblyn and the encouragement from municipalities and their unions, has motivated people to register, indicating a higher awareness among the area's residents about the importance of vaccination to free themselves from this pandemic. Al-Hajar reiterated his call for all residents of the region to register and get vaccinated, as it is the only and best solution we have to end this pandemic, which has become a significant burden on our lives, in addition to the many problems facing the country.

In a related context, a delegation from the "Islamic Institution for Social Care" headed by Hani Abu Zaynab, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, visited activities in the city of Sidon and invited them to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new ward designated for COVID-19 patients at the Sidon Government Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday. The facility has been equipped with all the necessary medical equipment to receive COVID-19 patients, and the inauguration ceremony will be under the patronage of Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Hassan. The delegation began its tour by visiting MP Bahia Hariri, followed by Colonel Saeed Machmouchi, Director of Southern Intelligence, then Major Rabih Haj Shihada, and Captain Walid Awidat of the general security in the south. The delegation concluded its visit with Major Jamil Seqli, Commander of the Southern Region in the Lebanese Army.
