The prominent Egyptian artist Adel Emam will be absent from the Ramadan drama lineup for the second consecutive year, following his last work, the series "Valentino" in 2020.
This absence has led to ongoing rumors about his health, especially since he has not been seen at filming locations or signed on for any new artistic ventures, despite numerous offers. However, press reports have confirmed that the icon is in good health. According to Egyptian media outlets, close friends of the esteemed artist have stated that he is well and prefers to stay away from social gatherings during artistic events to avoid the risk of contracting COVID-19. Moreover, Adel Emam always prefers to remain at home in his gym located in his palace in the Al Mansouriya area of Giza, surrounded by his family and very close friends.
His last artistic work was the series "Valentino," aired during Ramadan 2020, in which he was joined by Dalia Al-Buheiri, the late Dalal Abdel Aziz, Hamdi Al-Mirghani, Mohamed Kilani, Huda Al-Mufti, Tarek Al-Ebiari, Wafaa Sadiq, Rania Mahmoud Yassin, Suleiman Eid, Badria Taleb, the late Hadi Al-Ghiyar, Amr Wahba, and several guest stars, written by Ayman Bahgat Qamar and directed by Rami Emam.
The plot of the series revolved around Noor Mohamed Ahmed, known as "Valentino," and his wife Afaf Ismat, who own a series of international schools called "Valentino Schools." Due to their power and influence in the affairs surrounding them, numerous conflicts arise between them throughout the series, leading to adventures and surprises.
It is worth noting that two actors from the "Valentino" series unfortunately passed away due to COVID-19: Dalal Abdel Aziz and Hadi Al-Ghiyar.
