In sad news, Kuwaiti child Hussein Al-Ajmi, known on social media as "Shabl Yam," passed away on Wednesday after entering a coma following a traffic accident in Kuwait a few days ago. One of his relatives confirmed to "Al Arabiya.net" that he died at noon today, stating: "Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we will return, and we are among the patient."
On Tuesday, Muhammad Al-Ajmi, the child’s cousin, told "Al Arabiya.net" that the young boy had been in a coma in the intensive care unit following the tragic accident that occurred on February 18. He mentioned that "his condition was unstable due to bleeding, with a hematoma in the head, which led to the instability of his vital signs."
It is noteworthy that the 10-year-old singer was involved in a serious car accident a few days ago. Reports about his health status were mixed, with some stating he had suffered brain death, while others denied this. Activists on social media circulated an audio recording of his father discussing his son's brain death, while calls for his swift recovery flooded in. "Shabl Yam" was a Kuwaiti singer who gained fame on social media by sharing video clips of himself singing Gulf-style songs that garnered significant viewership.
