The Actors' Syndicate announced that it will conduct an investigation with both Rehab Al-Jamal and Basem Samra following Rehab's accusation of Samra's misconduct next Tuesday.
Ashraf Zaki, head of the Actors' Syndicate, stated that if the investigation proves either party guilty, they will face immediate penalties. Rehab Al-Jamal had launched an attack on a well-known artist, whose name she refused to disclose, due to what she described as irresponsible behavior on set and disrespect towards colleagues, as he allegedly attended filming while constantly intoxicated. She wrote on her official Facebook account: "The drunken actor... When you are drunk and you enter a wedding and elbow a star colleague, and he forgives you because he feels sorry for you, you then consider this your earned right. Then, about two months later, you enter a party and insult a young singer, and the people who got involved in the matter forgive you as well, you consider that an earned right too."
