Details on the Mysterious Explosion in Tehran: Satellite Images Reveal

Under the title "Details on the Mysterious Explosion in Tehran: Satellite Images Reveal," the Al-Arabiya website reported that explosions and fires affecting facilities and factories in Iran are often shrouded in mystery, with authorities providing minimal details. Last Sunday, the public relations department of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced a fire at one of its self-sufficiency research centers west of Tehran, reporting that three workers were killed.

Satellite images showed the extent of the damage to the site. The company "Imagesatintl" confirmed information that an explosion hit a "secret missile base belonging to the Guard." Additionally, it clarified that the explosion affected a center affiliated with the "Shaheed Hemat Industrial Group," adding that the images reveal about a quarter of the building was destroyed.

It is noteworthy that Iranian state television cited the Revolutionary Guard in a previous statement claiming that "a fire broke out on Sunday evening at one of the research centers west of the Iranian capital," mentioning that three individuals were injured before it was contained. In recent years, the country has witnessed a wave of fires affecting companies and factories in various cities including Qom, Isfahan, and Qazvin, without revealing the causes.

Several military facility sites have also recorded mysterious explosions, with no disclosure of those behind them. However, Iranian officials have repeatedly accused Israel and its intelligence services of being behind these incidents.
